These Terms of Service govern access to the LEST online store, use of its content, account features, and purchases made through the store. “LEST,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the seller identified in your order confirmation. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the store.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials, and notifying us of suspected unauthorized use. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store, or legal compliance.
2. Store information
We aim to present accurate product descriptions, specifications, colors, images, compatibility information, prices, and availability. Displays and manufacturing updates can cause minor differences. We may correct errors, update content, or withdraw an offer before an order is accepted.
3. Orders and acceptance
An order submission is an offer to purchase. Automated acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we confirm dispatch or otherwise expressly accept the order. We may reject or cancel an order for payment failure, suspected fraud, pricing or listing error, inventory shortage, shipping restriction, regulatory concern, resale abuse, or other legitimate reason. If payment was taken for a cancelled order, it will be refunded.
4. Prices, payment, and taxes
Prices are displayed in the currency selected for the applicable Shopify Market. The currency, shipping charges, discounts, duties and taxes shown at checkout control for the order. Payment is currently processed through PayPal and may be subject to PayPal's terms. You authorize us and our payment providers to process the amounts shown at checkout.
5. Promotions
Promotional codes are subject to their stated eligibility, scope, dates, exclusions, and usage limits. Unless expressly stated, promotions cannot be combined, exchanged for cash, applied retrospectively, or used for resale or fraudulent activity. We may correct or cancel a promotion affected by a clear error or abuse, subject to applicable law.
6. Shipping, title, and risk
Shipping destinations, rates, estimates, duties, and delivery procedures are described in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk pass as required by applicable law. For consumers in jurisdictions where risk remains with the seller until physical delivery, those mandatory rules apply.
7. Returns, refunds, and statutory rights
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Mandatory consumer guarantees, conformity rights, cancellation rights, and remedies in your country remain unaffected.
8. Safe and permitted product use
Steam cleaners generate heat and pressure. Read all manuals, warnings, electrical requirements, surface-care instructions, and accessory guidance before use. Use only compatible components and keep hot steam and surfaces away from people, animals, electrical hazards, and unsuitable materials. Product information on the store does not replace the supplied safety instructions.
9. Prohibited use of the store
You may not use the store to violate law, infringe rights, transmit malicious code, interfere with security or operation, scrape or harvest data without authorization, impersonate another person, submit false information, conduct fraudulent transactions, or resell store access. Reasonable personal browsing and purchasing are permitted.
10. Intellectual property
The LEST name, logos, original text, photographs, graphics, product presentation, software, and store design are owned by or licensed to LEST and protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may use store content for personal purchasing decisions but may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit it without permission.
11. Reviews and submitted content
If you submit a review, image, question, or other content, you confirm that it is truthful, based on your experience, lawful, and does not infringe another person's rights. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and adapt that content for operating and promoting the store. We may moderate content for relevance, safety, legality, privacy, or authenticity.
12. Third-party services and links
The store may use or link to services operated by PayPal, carriers, analytics providers, social platforms, review providers, and other third parties. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy notices. A link does not constitute responsibility for third-party content.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the store is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every error will be corrected immediately. Nothing in these Terms excludes express product warranties or mandatory statutory guarantees.
14. Limitation of liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Subject to that rule, LEST is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of contracting. For business customers, additional limitations may be agreed in writing.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the seller identified in the order confirmation, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Consumers may also use courts or dispute-resolution bodies available under applicable law.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms for legal, operational, security, or service reasons. The version in force when an order is accepted normally governs that order unless law requires otherwise. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
